Tristan's Happy Birthday #5

 Party with friends

 Kisses...Neveah loves her cousin Dax
 ...and her brother Tristan
 Neveah loves to go swimming!

Today was fun and adventure filled. Tristan turned 5 years old! We had a friend birthday party, went to the swimming pool as a family, had Grandmas and Grandpa over for cupcakes and to watch his life video, ate dinner at the restaurant  of Tristan's choice: El Sol, headed to Micah's baseball game after dinner, and arrived home exhausted and ready for a good night sleep at 8:00. We love Tristan so much. He brings so much joy to our family. He is always happy. He has a great imagination and can have fun doing just about anything. His newest imaginative play: he drew a bunch of paper characters from a TV show he loves to watch (A pair of Kings) He plays with the paper "dolls" for hours. He will start kindergarten this fall and mom and Neveah will miss him when he attends school each day. We feel so blessed to be his earthly parents. He is an amazing child and a warrior on this earth. We love you Tristan. Happy Birthday, always keep smiling!

Another day in Paradise...

 Tristan doing the t-ball thing.
Picnic in the park. Crazy faces!

Today was just another day in paradise. It started off with Sam cleaning at the Cranes. She then mowed the lawn, and took the kids to Tristan's t-ball game. A picnic in the park sounded like a nice way to finish off the evening. We then returned home to prepare for Tristan's big #5 birthday party which will be celebrated tomorrow as tomorrow is his birthday. Needless to say the day was full of adventure as always with four awesome kids to entertain me. Ryan is in Europe and we are all missing him deeply. Neveah thinks Daddy is at baseball, :) which is where he usually is if he is not home. Love you Ry, hope you are vacationing it up!

Who's on First

Neveah entertaining herself at Micah's baseball game. She's a little smartie

Micah giving it his all. He is so much fun to watch. He loves baseball and it shows in the way he plays the game. He loves it so much that he is constantly trying to improve. He spends hours out in the hot sun pitching to the pitch back as well as begging anyone to be his ball shagger in case he misses the pitch back. Love that boys enthusiasm and determination!

Tristan playing t-ball for the Braves

Tristan is playing t-ball this year. He becomes more aggressive each game. His games are at 4:45 in the afternoon and it has been quite warm at that time. He said that it is not as fun as playing baseball with Micah but it will have to do as he is not old enough to play baseball yet. He is a joy to watch and always brings a smile to my face.

A Blessing in Our Life

As mentioned in a previous post, we had a tree fall in our yard. Grandpa Bart seemed to be over the next day with his chain saw in hand ready to get to work. He calls it the "toothpick" and has literally had to whittle it away with his chainsaw. He tells us he doesn't mind the work and actually seems to enjoy it. We feel so blessed to have him so close. We also appreciate the love and support he gives to us. With baseball season in full swing, Ryan is seldom home being at the school from 6am-9pm every night. Grandpa Bart is truly a blessing in our life and we appreciate the sacrifice and service he has rendered to us. For being in his 70s, he works like he is in his 30s. Truly a great example of getting to work! Thank you Grandpa Bart for your time, love, and hard work! WE LOVE YOU!!!

The Big Tree

On March 14, 2013, the old rotten tree that lived in our front flower bed crashed to the earth. It pulled down our power pole along with the power as well as our phone line. It was rather exciting! We are most grateful that no one was hurt and thank Heavenly Father for the tender mercy He blessed us with that day.

Camping with Dad!

Every summer Ryan takes the kids camping, this year Tristan was old enough to join in on the adventure. He took them to Willow Flats Campground in Cub River, Idaho. They had a blast! Fishing, spending time with dad, climbing trees, exploring, sitting around the campfire, and sleeping in a tent were some of the fun that was had by all. Memories were made and Ryan is always as excited to take them camping as they are to go. He is a great daddy and I hope and pray my children truly appreciate the dad he is.

Before and After

Neveah (Ne-vay-a) Kensington Eborn was born on July 25, 2012 at 5:26 am. She weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Sam went into labor around 1:00am and began timing contractions. Every labor has been different and she wasn't quite sure what to expect. Her contractions were one minute long and 7-8 minutes apart. She wasn't quite sure if this was it so she continued to time and count contractions. Around 4:30am she decided it was time to wake Ryan up, by this time the contractions were more intense and her body was going into shock from the pain. Ryan called Grandma Iris, and we headed to the hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital the receptionist played 20 questions before admitting us. As Sam entered the labor and delivery room, once again questions were asked and the nurses seemed to be in no hurry to get things set up. At 5:00 they finally checked Sam and said she was at a 7+, things picked up rapidly from there and the nurses were all in shock because Sam was in control and didn't really act like she was in labor. Sam did not want an epidural and baby Neveah was born at 5:26am. Sam said that the whole experience went exactly how she had been praying it would for the last 3 weeks. She was strong and healthy as was the baby.  Our little miracle number 4 is such an angel and piece of heaven in our home. We feel so blessed to be her parents and love the amazing amount of love this little bundle has brought into our home!
